Then on Oct 28, ChatGPT reordered its charts: 50 of the 130 top-10 places changed hands, and OpenAI's own apps went from 11 of them to 22.

The score rewards staying power. An app that held #1 for six days and slipped on the seventh, like Skyscanner, still beats an app that reached #1 only on the last day. Two apps changed category during the week: Flaim Fantasy moved from Productivity to Other on Oct 25, and GSC Wizard moved from Developer Tools to Data & Analytics on Oct 24. Both went straight to #1 in their new chart.
