JotScout

A quiet place for notes, ideas, and things to do. Write with Markdown, organize notes into files, and save locally on your device. Notepad by JotScout uses a single rich-text editor with Markdown shortcuts for headings, lists, links, and code. Select text for formatting and colors. Create a file for each project and switch files in a drawer that hides when you return to writing. Delete finished items as ordinary text. Notes save locally in the browser or app on your device. Export an individual note as Markdown or all files as a JSON backup. If the host does not support file downloads, copy the exported text and save it locally. Import a backup file or paste its JSON text to move notes between devices or website addresses. The chat tool opens the editor; it cannot read, edit, or synchronize local notes, or list ChatGPT projects. Project names can be imported manually. Display placement depends on the host.
