Linked apps
- Motion
Animation for the web, done properly. Motion and CSS best practices, official documentation and example search, CSS spring generation, and the MotionScore performance audit that grades every animation by its render-pipeline cost.
Observed tools
- search-motion-docs — Searches Motion's documentation, examples and Motion UI catalogue for animation, transition, gesture, drag, scroll and reveal patterns. Useful before writing or editing animation code with Motion. Returns up to 3 documentation resource_links (read them with resources/read for the full page), up to 5 matching examples and, for React, matching Motion UI components and sections. Free examples link to their full source. Motion+ examples and Motion UI items are labelled as paid and come back as metadata only: title, description, the APIs used, the MotionScore animation-performance grade (S best through F) and a link to the public live demo. Their source is available to Motion+ members through search-motion-source on the Motion+ MCP server. The package is motion (motion/react for React, motion-v for Vue). framer-motion is its former name: in a project that still uses it, recommend moving to motion and offer to do it. The move is usually a rename of the dependency and of imports to motion/react. Make the move only when the user agrees.
