Linked apps

  • Tineo

Connect Tineo to Claude to review trips, flights, hotels and activities, and add or update itinerary details. Organize and share plans with friends in Tineo.

Observed tools

  • affiliate_program_catalog — Returns travel-affiliate program metadata and implementation status. Supported generic search adapters may include Tineo handoff links. A null bookingLink indicates metadata without a booking handoff or live inventory.
  • assistant_airbnb_search_trip — Searches Airbnb for an existing trip. Explicit location and date arguments override values derived from the trip.
  • assistant_airbnb_search_user — Searches Airbnb by location and dates. Returns listing cards with title, type, rating, host, and URL.
  • audit_travel_documents — Audit expiration dates of the user's travel documents (passports, visas, insurance) and flag expired, expiring soon (<180 days), or expiring before trip end.
  • batch_segment_create — Creates up to 50 segments in one trip atomically. If any segment fails validation, none are created.
  • cities_search — Searches saved city names and aliases. Returns stored city IDs and location details without adding a city to a trip.
  • diagnose_failed_import — Triage a failed, held, or partially processed email import on the user's account. Returns the failure step, error message, likely reason, and actionable next steps.
  • discover — Searches hotels, restaurants, attractions, and activities near a location. Returns cards with images, ratings, price levels, and links.
  • duplicate_checklist — Copies a checklist into up to 10 new checklists on the same trip. Copies keep item text and sections, and every item starts unchecked.
  • estimate_transfer_drive_time — Returns a traffic-aware drive-time estimate for a Transfer segment and can save it as the estimated drop-off time. Never overwrites a fixed drop-off time; a failed lookup changes nothing.
  • fetch — Returns full text for an accessible Tineo item identified by trip:{id}, segment:{id}, travel-document:{id}, or document:{id}.
  • flight_booking_link — Return a Tineo redirect card for comparable flight search for a trip flight when affiliate flight deep links are enabled.
  • flight_quickadd — Looks up a flight by number and date and creates it as a trip segment. External flight lookup may take several seconds.
  • flight_quickadd_lookup — Looks up flight details using an airline, flight number, and departure date without creating a segment.
  • flight_route_lookup — Returns scheduled flights and flight numbers matching origin airport, destination airport, local departure date, and optional airline.
  • flight_status_for_segment — Returns current flight status, delays, cancellations, and available gate or terminal updates for an existing flight segment.
  • forwarding_address_get_or_create — Read the authenticated user's personal Tineo forwarding address, or explicitly create one when none exists. A requested friendly name is paid-Ultra only. Never replaces an existing address. trips@tineo.ai remains available for mail forwarded from the user's primary or registered email; a personal address can also receive mail sent by an assistant or travel provider.
  • friend_request_accept — Accepts an incoming pending friend request by request ID, establishes the connection, and notifies the sender.
  • friend_request_decline — Declines an incoming pending friend request by request ID.
  • friend_request_resend — Resends an outgoing request notification email. Requires confirmed=true representing explicit resend confirmation. Resends are throttled to 60 seconds after the original send and 24 hours after the first resend, with a maximum of two resends.
  • friend_request_send — Sends a friend request or invitation email to one recipient identified by user_id or email. Requires confirmed=true representing explicit recipient confirmation. The email response does not reveal whether the address is registered.
  • friend_requests_pending — Lists incoming and outgoing pending friend requests with request IDs and counterpart names. Email addresses are omitted.
  • friends_list — List the authenticated user's accepted friends (paged). Returns each friend's name, home location, your label for them (Friend/Family) and your two-way trip-sharing state. Never returns other users' email addresses.
  • generate_packing_list — Creates a weather- and activity-aware packing checklist, grouped into sections, saved as a pinned trip note. Requires at least three substantive trip segments. replace=true regenerates the checklist while preserving checked items. context_notes tailors the list to details the user stated; people creates one personalized list per person.
  • get_day_of_travel_brief — Get airport day-of-travel intelligence combining cached airport conditions and ground-transportation guides (trains, shuttles, taxis) for an airport code or flight segment.
  • get_flight_airport_conditions — Get cached airport conditions, delay indices, weather, and flight rules for an IATA airport code (e.g. "ORD") or a flight segment's departure and arrival airports. Cache-only: reads existing airport intelligence and never triggers an external fetch.
  • get_flight_change_history — Get recorded historical timeline of flight schedule changes, gate changes, and delays for flights monitored on the user's trips.
  • get_routes — Compare available driving, transit, walking, and bicycling route summaries between two places using Google Maps. Returns duration and distance estimates for supported modes, plus Uber, Lyft, Waymo, and Google Maps handoff buttons for the destination. Set origin to 'home' for the user's saved home address. Ground time excludes airport check-in and security. Fares, detailed legs, flights, and ferries are unavailable.
  • get_travel_stats — Get lifetime travel summary statistics across all owned and shared trips: total trips, completed trips, total segments, and segment counts by type.
  • get_trip_expense_summary — Get trip spend totals, per-currency breakdowns, traveler balances, and calculated who-pays-whom settlement suggestions for a trip.
  • get_trip_weather — Returns trip weather: daily forecast, current conditions, or hourly conditions. For a multi-city trip, current and hourly requests may return city choices requiring city_id.
  • ground_transfer_booking_links — Return Welcome Pickups and GetTransfer affiliate cards for a dated pickup and drop-off route. These are provider search or quote handoffs only, not live availability, prices, or confirmed bookings.
  • import_parse_text_preview — Parses pasted travel confirmation text into proposed itinerary segments without saving itinerary records.
  • known_participants — Returns matching people previously added to the authenticated user's trips.
  • library_list_edit — Edit one owned Tineo Library List using the exact listId, item IDs and expectedVersion from GetLibraryList/library_list_get. For updateList/addItem/updateItem, updateFields MUST name exactly the fields the user requested, and updates supplies their values. Other updates keys are ignored, so optional transport fillers cannot alter content. To clear a nullable field, explicitly include its name in updateFields and supply an empty string ONLY when the user asks to clear it. Null leaves a field unchanged. Never replace the entire list or rewrite unrelated content. For addItem, generate one stable itemId UUID and reuse it on retries; select only text. updateList supports title/emoji/color/description; updateItem supports text/completed/color/notes/priority/dueDate. For non-update operations use updateFields:[] and omit updates or leave only empty fillers. reorderItems requires every current item UUID exactly once. Show the exact proposed delete, clear-completed or reorder and obtain explicit user confirmation before setting confirmed=true. On library_version_mismatch read again and reconsider the edit; never retry blindly. Other Library types are unsupported.
  • library_list_get — Read one owned Tineo Library List, including every stable item UUID and its version. Read before editing; preserve fields the user did not ask to change. Never use trip segment IDs or guess list/item IDs.
  • library_lists_search — Find the signed-in user's Tineo Library Lists by title or description. Return candidate IDs; when several titles match, ask the user to select one. These are freestanding Library Lists, separate from trip packing/checklists. Only lists are supported; do not invent journal, place or file edits.
  • mentions_search — Typeahead search over the user's Tineo trips for composer @-mentions. Returns resource links to trips.
  • place_details — Returns place identity, address, map URL, coordinates, photos, and timezone. Google rich business details are disabled; do not use for hours, open-now, price, website, phone, or ratings. Missing fields mean unavailable, not closed or absent; cached optional details may be stale.
  • places_search — Searches real-world hotels, restaurants, venues, airports, stations, ports, parking locations, and other places by text.
  • search — Use when the user describes a trip, itinerary item, or travel document by keyword rather than ID. Returns matching accessible items with IDs, titles, and links. Pass the exact returned ID to fetch. For a full trip itinerary, use the bare UUID from trips_list (trip_id in its text; trips[].id in structured results) as trip_details.trip_id.
  • search_airport_lounges — Requires Tineo Ultra access. Search Tineo's populated first-party airport-lounge catalog by IATA and optional terminal/gate. Returns terminal, concourse, stored gate reference, location, access, amenity, rating, and day-pass fields with categorical gate relevance (not walking distance).
  • search_attractions — Searches tourist attractions, sights, and landmarks using TripAdvisor and Google Places. Returns ratings, descriptions, addresses, and ticket or experience links.
  • search_flight_prices — Searches Google Flights itineraries between two airports on a date. Returns prices, durations, airlines, layovers, and route-search actions. Provider age categories may treat ages 12-17 as adults; infant seating and final booking eligibility depend on provider policy. Run one search at a time (one route, one range); extra parallel calls queue briefly or are rejected. Do not sweep many weeks in parallel. Use one range of up to 7 days, then ask the user before searching more.
  • search_hotels — Searches lodging. Dated radius results are selected by geography, not a supplied text query or style preference. A hotel_place_id searches by hotel name unless radius_meters is supplied; only a unique identity match retains price and booking links.
  • search_tours — Search for bookable tours, activities, excursions, and experiences at a destination using GetYourGuide with Viator and Tiqets travelpayouts fallbacks. Returns tour options with titles, prices, ratings, durations, and booking links. Use when the user asks about things to do, tours, activities, excursions, or experiences in a city or destination.
  • segment_associate_place — Attaches a Google Place to an existing segment and synchronizes address, city, country, and coordinates. CarRental and Transfer support origin or destination roles; single-location segments default to primary.
  • segment_booking_links — Return useful booking, reservation, ticket, check-in, itinerary, voucher, receipt, and travel-document links for one trip segment as booking_link_cards.
  • segment_create — Creates a segment using a trip ID, segment type, and type-specific fields. Segment dates must fall within the parent trip dates; use trip_update first to extend the trip. An incomplete request can return a segment editor without saving a record.
  • segment_delete — Delete a segment from a trip. This action cannot be undone.
  • segment_details — Get full details for a specific trip segment. Returns complete information based on segment type: flight details (airline, flight number, airports, terminals, seats, baggage), hotel details (property, address, check-in/out times, room type, amenities), activity details (venue, tickets, timing), event ticket details (event name, venue, timing, vendor, order, confirmation), car rental details (company, vehicle, pickup/dropoff locations), or transfer details (provider, transfer type, pickup/dropoff locations, addresses, and local times).
  • segment_get_schema — Returns required fields and field types for Flight, Lodging, CarRental, Train, Transfer, Ferry, EventTicket, Parking, Activity, Note, or Poll segments.
  • segment_link_add — Adds a labeled URL to an existing itinerary segment without changing its existing or imported links, and returns the saved link plus the segment's full link list.
  • segment_update — Updates supplied fields of an existing segment; omitted fields remain unchanged. New dates must fall within the parent trip dates; use trip_update first to extend the trip. An incomplete request can return a segment editor without saving changes. Checklist tasks are changed by ID through fields.checklistItemUpdates (itemUpdates with text/category/checked, additions, removals, order); trip_checklists returns the IDs.
  • settings_read — Reads the user's Tineo display and notification settings: units, date and time formats, flight monitoring, and trip reminder emails.
  • settings_update — Changes the user's Tineo display and notification settings. Only include settings the user asked to change.
  • support_ticket_create — Creates a Tineo support ticket with explicit user confirmation and notifies Tineo support by email.
  • tineo_ping — Use only to check whether Tineo is connected; it is not needed before reading trips. To start exploring, call trips_list with status=upcoming, then trip_details with a returned trip_id. Use search to find a trip, itinerary item, or travel document.
  • train_booking_link — Return an Omio train-search handoff for Madrid-Barcelona or Tokyo-Kyoto in either direction. Select dates and passenger details on Omio; the card preserves the requested date for reference. No live fares, availability, or tickets are provided.
  • travel_document_assign_trip — Moves an owned travel document and eligible linked files to an owned trip or the general library. A null trip ID selects the library. Files attached to other documents remain in place and are reported. Returns the document, previous and new trip, and affected file count.
  • traveler_add — Adds a traveler. An email and invite_confirmed=true represent an explicitly approved invitation and send an invitation email. invite_confirmed=false without email represents a declined invitation and adds the traveler without sending an invitation.
  • traveler_assign — Assigns one or more travelers to a segment. traveler_id identifies one traveler; traveler_ids supports a batch. Existing assignments are unchanged.
  • traveler_update_email — Corrects one pending trip traveler's email. First read trip_travelers for the exact traveler_id and obtain the owner's explicit new address. A changed address revokes the old link and automatically sends a renewed invitation. Report invitationSent truthfully if delivery fails or is disabled.
  • trip_booking_links — Returns booking, reservation, ticket, check-in, itinerary, and affiliate flight-search links for a trip as booking-link cards.
  • trip_checklists — Reads every checklist on a trip with item IDs, text, sections, order and completion. Tasks are a flat list (no subtasks). Use it before editing items with segment_update's checklistItemUpdates; create a checklist with segment_create (Note, isChecklist true) and delete one with segment_delete. Never show IDs to users.
  • trip_cities_list — Lists ordered city associations and their trip_city_id identifiers for a trip.
  • trip_cities_reorder — Replace the trip city order using every current trip_city_id exactly once. The first city drives the automatic cover when an image is available.
  • trip_city_add — Add a city to the end of a trip's ordered city list. This is idempotent when an equivalent city is already present.
  • trip_city_remove — Removes one city association from a trip by trip_city_id.
  • trip_city_update — Replace one trip-city association with another city. This never edits the shared city catalog record.
  • trip_cover_update — Sets a trip cover using an image URL or supported place-photo reference. The image becomes the trip hero immediately.
  • trip_create — Create a new trip with explicit start_date and end_date (YYYY-MM-DD), covering its planned segments. Returns its ID; the authenticated user becomes the owner.
  • trip_delete — Delete a trip owned by the authenticated user and its itinerary segments. Requires confirmed=true after explicit user confirmation. Also removes connected calendar events when automatic sync is enabled.
  • trip_details — Use the bare UUID returned by trips_list as trip_id. The text labels it trip_id; structured results expose it as id. Search returns prefixed IDs such as trip:<id>; pass those exact IDs to fetch instead. Returns the trip summary, traveler count, and chronological itinerary with segment IDs. Use segment_details for a specific item; use sections or segment_types to narrow the itinerary.
  • trip_rename — Rename a trip owned by the authenticated user. Returns the old and new titles. May synchronize the title to the trip owner's connected calendars when automatic sync is enabled.
  • trip_restore — Restore a deleted trip owned by the authenticated user, together with the itinerary items that were removed when it was deleted (items deleted separately before that stay deleted). Call without trip_id to list recently deleted trips. Call with trip_id to preview the restore; nothing changes until the user explicitly confirms and you call again with confirmed=true. May re-add the trip to the owner's connected calendars when automatic sync is enabled.
  • trip_travelers — Get the list of travelers/participants for a specific trip. Returns names, emails, roles, and which segments each traveler is assigned to.
  • trip_update — Update trip dates, title, destination, or description for a trip the authenticated user can edit. May synchronize changes to the trip owner's connected calendars when automatic sync is enabled.
  • trips_hub — Opens the Tineo trips app: browse current, upcoming, and past trips and open a trip's day-by-day itinerary. The user launches it from the ChatGPT sidebar or a conversation panel.
  • trips_list — Lists trips accessible to the signed-in Tineo account. Start here for questions like 'What trips do I have coming up?' or to find a trip by name or destination. Filter by upcoming, ongoing, or past status as needed. Use a returned trip_id with trip_details to open its itinerary.
