Compendia Bibliotheca

An intelligent library of public-domain authors: the work, search and reference across the corpus, and conversation with the books in the voice of whoever wrote them — reconstructed from the text, citing author and volume. When it can't find one, it says so. Every quotation is a literal passage retrieved from a digitized edition, returned with its locator — the printed page when the edition has one, the paragraph when it does not — plus a ready-made citation and a full bibliographic reference. The texts are in their original languages (German, Latin, Greek, French, Portuguese and others). Access requires signing in to an existing Compendia account.
