OpenApps

Terms of service

The terms for using OpenApps and its API and MCP server, and for paying for Pro: renewal, cancellation and refunds.

The service

These terms are an agreement between you and The Open Apps, Inc., a US company ("we"), for your use of OpenApps at theopenapps.com, including its website, REST API and MCP server. OpenApps publishes market data about the ChatGPT, Claude and Cursor app stores and the MCP servers linked from them. By using OpenApps, you agree to these terms. If you use OpenApps for an organization, you accept them on its behalf.

You can browse the public catalog without an account. Developer keys, connected apps and Pro need an account.

Accounts

Give accurate information when you sign up and keep your password and sign-in methods secure. You are responsible for activity under your account, including requests made with your developer keys and connected apps. Tell us promptly if you think your account or a key has been misused.

You can stop using OpenApps at any time. To delete your account, email support@theopenapps.com; cancel Pro first so it does not renew.

Acceptable use, API and MCP access

Use OpenApps lawfully. Do not attempt to bypass its authentication, security or rate limits, overload it, or use it to harm others.

Developer keys and OAuth connections act as you. Keep keys secret and revoke any you no longer use from your account page. We may limit, suspend or revoke a key, a connection or an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk.

Pro

Pro costs $10 a month or $100 a year in US dollars, plus sales tax or VAT where it applies. Pro is early access: today it includes the same features as Free, and Pro features are added as they ship. Your price stays the same while your subscription is active.

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period, and the payment method you used is charged for the next period until you cancel.

Payments and tax

Pro is sold through Link, Stripe's checkout service. Link (Sold Through Link, LLC, a Stripe affiliate) is the reseller and merchant of record: it charges your payment method, calculates and collects sales tax or VAT, sends receipts and invoices, and handles payment support. Your statement shows the charge from Link.com. Link may offer to charge you in your local currency at the exchange rate shown at checkout.

When you subscribe, you agree to Link's terms and privacy policy for the purchase, including Stripe's Sold Through Link Terms. The Open Apps, Inc. provides Pro and the rest of OpenApps under these terms.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from your account page: choose Manage billing to open the Stripe customer portal. You can also manage the subscription from your Link account at link.com. After you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for and does not renew.

Refunds

If you ask within 14 days of the first payment of a subscription, we refund that payment in full. We do not refund renewals, or the unused part of a period after you cancel.

To request a refund, email support@theopenapps.com from the address on your account. You can also ask Link support, which reviews requests under its own refund policy. A refund goes back to the payment method you used and includes any tax you paid.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law, such as the 14-day right of withdrawal for consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom.

Data and availability

OpenApps reports what our collectors observe in public store listings and anonymous MCP server probes. Data can be incomplete, delayed or wrong, and store ranks are not download counts. App names, listings and trademarks belong to their owners.

OpenApps and its data are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend or stop features. If we stop offering Pro, we refund the unused part of any period you paid for.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, The Open Apps, Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim about OpenApps is limited to the amount you paid us for OpenApps in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Changes to these terms

We update this page when these terms change. The date above identifies the latest version. If a change affects Pro, we email subscribers before it takes effect. If you do not agree to a change, cancel Pro and stop using OpenApps.

Governing law

The laws of the State of Delaware, USA, govern these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes about these terms go to the courts of Delaware, unless the consumer law of your country lets you bring a claim where you live.
