カーリル for AI
CALIL Inc · Education & Research
CALIL for AI lets ChatGPT search the catalogs of more than 7,400 public, university, and specialized libraries in Japan. What you can do: - Find library systems by library name or region (for example, a city or ward) and get the system IDs used for catalog search. - Search up to 15 library systems at once by keyword, title, author, publisher, ISBN, or NDC classification, with optional publication-year filters. Results list matching books, which systems hold them, and a link to each library's catalog page. - Browse the Nippon Decimal Classification (NDC 9th edition), including broader, narrower, and related classes. Intended users: readers, students, researchers, and librarians looking for books held by libraries in Japan. Limitations: Catalog data is provided in Japanese. Search results show which libraries hold a book and link to their catalog pages; loan status and reservations are handled on each library's own site. The plugin cannot borrow, reserve, or purchase books, and it does not access library user accounts. A CALIL account connection is required. Searches are subject to rate limits that control the volume of requests within a given time period.
