GovBot Community Wildfire Risk

Ideation Lab, Corp

GovBot Community Wildfire Risk is a remote, read-only MCP server operated by Ideation Lab, Corp. It requires no account. It reports the USDA Forest Service's landscape-scale wildfire data for counties, communities and tribal areas, read live from Forest Service services, each result with its publisher, dataset, release, data-edit date and retrieval time. What it returns: - County, community (city, town or census-designated place) and tribal area summaries from the Forest Service Wildfire Risk to Communities project: total buildings and housing units, the share in the direct and indirect wildfire exposure zones, and percentile ranks within the state and the nation for wildfire likelihood (annual burn probability) and Wildfire Hazard Potential. - The counties of a state ordered by wildfire likelihood or Wildfire Hazard Potential. - Dataset descriptions, Forest Service Research Data Archive citations, vintages and metric definitions. Typical use: compare a county's or community's wildfire likelihood and exposure with its state and the nation, or find the counties of a state with the highest wildfire hazard potential, for planning and research. How results are qualified: these are modeled, landscape-scale data for comparing counties and communities (2025 summary release; landscape conditions as of 2020-2022). They describe areas, not individual parcels or buildings, are not a building-code, land-use or evacuation determination, and contain no current fire or weather information. Not affiliated with the USDA Forest Service or any government agency. The server writes nothing.
