llms.txt and Markdown for agents

theopenapps.com/llms.txt is a Markdown map of OpenApps for coding agents and assistants: what the data is, the 30 API operations, the 13 MCP tools and where the full schemas live. It is generated from the API's own registry, so it changes when the API does.

What it is for

Agents that write code or answer questions with tools read llms.txt to learn what a site offers without reading every page. Ours points them to the API and the MCP server, with one example request per operation. Search engines don't use it for ranking, and we don't expect it to change how often OpenApps is cited; the pages themselves do that work.

Markdown copies of pages

The written pages (About, Pricing, the legal pages, the blog, the glossary, research and these docs) also have a Markdown version at the same path with .md added, and answer Accept: text/markdown with it.

Terminal
curl -H "Accept: text/markdown" https://theopenapps.com/pricing

Agent context as JSON

/v1/agent-context holds the same map as JSON: the stores with their regions and metrics, every parameter with its type and default, every operation with an example, the MCP tools and the operations they run, limits and the attribution line.
