Refund & Cancellation Policy
Cancel Pro at any time from your account page and keep it until the end of the period you've paid for. Consumers in the EU, EEA and UK can withdraw within 14 days of subscribing for a full refund.
Effective October 16, 2026Applies to OpenApps Pro, monthly and annual
The short version
- Cancel online at any time: Manage billing on your account page opens the Stripe customer portal. No calls, no forms, no fees.
- You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for. Then your account moves to Free.
- We refund a payment when the law or Link's refund policy requires it, such as a duplicate charge.
- Renewals aren't refunded unless the law requires it, so cancel before the renewal date if you don't want the next period.
- Consumers in the EU, EEA and UK keep their legal 14-day right of withdrawal.
This summary helps you find your way. The full text below is what applies.
Contents
1.At a glance
| Situation | What happens |
|---|---|
| You cancel | Pro stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and you aren't charged again. Then your account moves to Free. |
| A renewal, monthly or annual | No refund, unless the law requires one. Cancel at any time to stop the next charge. |
| A consumer in the EU, EEA or UK, within 14 days of subscribing | Full refund under your right of withdrawal. |
| We stop offering Pro | Refund of the unused part of your paid period. |
| You're charged twice or by mistake | Full refund of the wrong charge. |
2.How to cancel
- Sign in and open your account page.
- Choose Manage billing to open the Stripe customer portal.
- Cancel the subscription there, and confirm.
That's all. You'll never need to call, chat or wait for us to cancel. You can also manage the subscription from your Link account at link.com, or email hello@theopenapps.com from the address on your account and ask us to cancel; we confirm by email.
To delete your account, use Settings or email hello@theopenapps.com. Deleting it ends Pro at once.
3.What happens after you cancel
- Pro stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and we don't charge you again.
- Then your account moves to Free. Your account, developer keys and connected apps stay. What only Pro includes stops: every row beyond Free's 500, history beyond 30 days, and the Compare, Rank history, Listing changelog and Launch lag pages.
- If you subscribe again later, Pro starts again straight away.
4.Renewals
Pro renews automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period, and the payment method you used is charged for the next period until you cancel. The price is $10 a month, or $71.88 a year ($5.99 a month), plus tax where it applies, and it stays the same while your subscription is active.
We don't refund renewals, or the unused part of a period after you cancel, unless the law or Link's refund policy requires it. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
5.When something goes wrong on our side
- Mistaken charges. If you were charged twice, after cancelling, or by mistake, we refund the wrong charge in full.
- Pro ends. If we stop offering Pro, we refund the unused part of any period you've paid for.
- Price changes never apply to an active subscription: your price stays the same while you stay subscribed.
6.EU, EEA and UK consumers
If you're a consumer living in the EU, the EEA or the UK, you can withdraw from a Pro subscription within 14 days of the day you subscribe, without giving a reason.
To withdraw, email hello@theopenapps.com from the address on your account. We refund what you paid, including tax, no later than 14 days after you tell us, and Pro ends.
You can use this model form, but you don't have to: "To OpenApps, hello@theopenapps.com: I withdraw from my contract for OpenApps Pro. Subscribed on: [date]. Name: [your name]. Account email: [your email]. Date: [today's date]."
7.How refunds are paid
- Pro is sold through Link, Stripe's checkout service. Refunds go back to the card or payment method you paid with; we can't send them to a different card or account.
- A refund includes the tax you paid on the refunded amount. Your bank may take several business days to show it.
- Prices are in US dollars. If Link charged you in your local currency, or your bank converted the payment, the amount you get back in your currency may differ because of exchange rates or bank fees we don't control.
8.How to ask for a refund
Email hello@theopenapps.com from the address on your account and tell us which payment you'd like refunded. The date or the invoice number from your receipt is enough.
You can also ask Link support, which reviews requests under its own refund policy.
9.Disputes and chargebacks
If something looks wrong on your statement, please email us before you dispute the charge with your bank. We can usually fix it faster.
10.Your legal rights
This policy explains how cancellation and refunds work under our Terms of Service. If the two ever differ, the Terms of Service apply.
Nothing in this policy limits a right you have under the consumer law where you live, such as the EU, EEA and UK right of withdrawal (section 6), and where the law gives you more, the law applies.
