Keyshift Chord Transposer

ZovoEntertainment

Keyshift Chord Transposer is an entertainment tool for playing chord sheets on guitar or ukulele. Paste chords above your own lyrics or ChordPro inline brackets, then change the key by semitones, a named key pair or a capo fret. Roots and slash bass notes move while quality text stays in place. Chord starts keep their columns unless longer names collide; later chords then move right with a separating space. Tabs use 8-column stops. The live monospaced sheet has down and up semitone controls. A capo chart shows frets 0 to 9, the shapes to play and counts of easy open chord names. Transposition includes a printable PDF in a monospaced layout; long lines continue at shared column boundaries and chord/lyric pairs stay together. Limits: 12,000 characters per sheet, semitone input -11 to +11, capo frets 0 to 9, and capo lists of 1 to 100 chords. Chord names only; no audio, tablature or staff notation. The key estimate uses the first and last chord and can be wrong for songs that change key. The PDF prints Latin, Greek, Cyrillic, Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese and Korean lyrics. Chinese, Japanese and Korean characters take two columns, so chords stay over the right syllable. Right-to-left scripts such as Hebrew and Arabic, and emoji, get a note instead of a PDF. Lyrics are kept in widget-only metadata and an encrypted stateless download link, with no server-side lyric storage.
