Motley Stories AGData & Analytics

Motley gives your AI assistant the right data to answer questions about your business. Motley connects to your company's data sources and keeps a semantic layer: the definitions of your metrics, your tables, and how they relate. When you ask a question, such as "What was revenue by store last quarter?", your assistant uses Motley to find the right tables and metrics, runs the query, and answers with the numbers and the query behind them. You can check how each number was calculated. Everyone in your organization works from the same definitions. What you can do: - Ask questions about your business metrics, trends, and breakdowns. - Give context, such as what "active customer" means, so that later answers use it. - Set up and improve the semantic layer for a connected data source. What you need: a Motley account. Every account includes a demo data source. To connect your own data, contact the Motley team. Limitations: Motley reads only the data sources that your organization connects. It does not search the web and does not change the data in your databases. Large raw extracts are truncated, so ask for aggregated results. Changes to the semantic layer need the editor role.
