MiLatexAI

MiLatexAI

MiLatexAI connects Claude to your LaTeX projects so you can work on your papers by talking to them. Ask Claude to rewrite a paragraph, fix a compile error, add a citation or make a figure, and the change lands in your Overleaf project or Git repository. Switch between projects in one chat, or copy a figure or file from one into another. What it does - Reads and edits your real files in Overleaf (through its Git integration), GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket and self-hosted Git. - Every edit is a Git commit: see the diff, restore any file or roll back to a checkpoint. - Shows Claude the compiled page, tables and figures as images, so it can fix a table that runs off the page. - Creates figures from a description (matplotlib charts, TikZ diagrams). An approved figure is committed as the image plus its source in figures/src, so it stays editable. Pro. - Works across projects: connect several, switch the active one by name, copy a file or figure between them. - Checks the paper compiles and finds the failing line. - Adds citations from a DOI or arXiv id by fetching the real BibTeX, so references are never invented. - Keeps your access token out of the chat: you paste it into a secure web form and it is stored encrypted. What it does not do - It only touches the projects you connect. It keeps no lasting copy of your documents: it works on a temporary copy, kept only for you and deleted within a day. Plans Reading is always free. Free: 10 write commits a month, one active project at a time (others stay saved, switch any time) and up to 40 compiles or page previews an hour, on spare capacity. Pro is unlimited: every project active at once, figure creation, and new subscribers get 50% off their first month. Subscribing happens on Stripe's own checkout page. The source code is public under the AGPL license. Before you start Overleaf's Git integration is a paid Overleaf feature (many universities include it). GitHub, GitLab and Bitbucket only need a free access token.
