Does Amazon Seller Central work in Claude and ChatGPT?
Amazon Seller Central works in Claude through Amazon Selling Partner, an app published by Amazon itself. Claude lists it twice, as a connector and as a plugin. On Oct 28, 2026 the plugin stood at #241 in Claude's Most popular list and the connector at #277. Its server asks you to sign in before it shows any tools, so we can't yet say whether it reads only or can make changes.
ChatGPT has no seller app published by Amazon. Sellers there use third-party apps whose listings name Amazon, led by Helium 10 at #5 in Data & Analytics. Cursor and Grok Bot have no Amazon seller app either. The Amazon-made apps in those stores are AWS cloud tools, such as AWS Core and Amazon Location Service, and they don't touch a seller account.
So Claude gets the fuller version. It is the one store where Amazon itself offers a way into Seller Central, and Helium 10 is listed there as well.
| Store | Official Amazon seller app | What sellers can use there | Reads only or can make changes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Claude | Yes: Amazon Selling Partner | Amazon's own app, plus Helium 10 and Adspirer Connector #277, plugin #241 in Most popular | Tools hidden behind sign-in |
| ChatGPT | No | Helium 10, tool4seller, Adzviser Amazon Seller Central Helium 10 is #5 in Data & Analytics | Varies by app |
| Cursor | No | Amazon MCP Server for public product and seller pages Top #76 | Reads only |
| Grok Bot | No | Adspirer and Adspirer Retail Ads Popular #108 and #462 | Tools hidden |
How do you connect Amazon Seller Central to Claude?
To connect Seller Central to Claude, search Claude's directory for Amazon Selling Partner, add the connector or install the plugin, then sign in when its server asks. The server shows no tools until you do. In the other stores, the seller apps sit in each store's own directory under the names below.
- Claude: search the directory for Amazon Selling Partner. Pick the connector to add it as a connector, or the plugin to install it as a plugin. Our Claude connector entry explains the difference.
- ChatGPT: open the apps directory and search for Helium 10, tool4seller or Adzviser Amazon Seller Central.
- Cursor: add Amazon MCP Server from the Cursor charts for public product and seller data.
- Grok Bot: look for Adspirer or Adspirer Retail Ads for ad work.
What can you do once your assistant reaches Amazon?
Amazon apps in the assistant stores do four jobs for sellers. Some read your own account, and others read Amazon's public pages. Only a few show tools we can read, so the groups below lean on those.
- Research the market. Logimu Shopping in ChatGPT has 18 tools: Best Sellers lists by category, every offer on a product, a seller's profile, page 1 of Amazon US search for a keyword, and reverse ASIN lookups. In Cursor, Amazon MCP Server fetches product details, reviews, search results and seller storefronts on any Amazon domain. Trends MCP adds an Amazon Best Sellers by Category board.
- Report on sales and ads. Adzviser Amazon Seller Central is built for Seller Central data, by its name. Its tools are hidden behind sign-in.
- Run ad campaigns. Adspirer lists in ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor and Grok Bot. Its Claude connector is Adspirer Ads & Performance Marketing Agent, and its listing marks it as able to make changes.
- Track products. Logimu can pin an ASIN and reread its offers page every hour or every 2, 4, 12 or 24 hours.
Most seller work needs your own account data: orders, inventory, fees and ad spend. Public-data apps like Logimu and Amazon MCP Server can't see any of that. For your own numbers, the choice is Amazon Selling Partner in Claude, or an account-linked app such as Helium 10 or Adzviser Amazon Seller Central.
Helium 10 also lists in Claude, at #206 in Most popular, and its listing marks that version as able to make changes. In our ranking of the 21 apps we score under the Amazon tag on Oct 27, 2026, Helium 10 is #2 and Adspirer #3. Amazon Selling Partner is #14.
Which other apps connect to Amazon?

ChatGPT has the most choice. Of the 122 apps we tag Amazon, which include AWS cloud tools, 71 (58%) list in ChatGPT, 22 in Claude, 52 in Cursor and 9 in Grok Bot. Some list in more than one store. ChatGPT's seller apps are all third-party, and Claude's official app has no ChatGPT twin.

Method and limits
The Amazon tag matches listing text, so it catches any app that mentions Amazon. Many tagged apps are AWS cloud tools, and some only name Amazon among dozens of sources. This post keeps the ones aimed at sellers, but a listing that names Amazon may still do little with it.
Most Amazon servers hide their tools until you sign in. Of the 65 Amazon-tagged listings with an MCP server, we can read the tools of 19 (29%). The rest, Amazon Selling Partner and Helium 10 in ChatGPT among them, are auth-gated servers. For those we can't confirm what they read or change. Where the post says such an app can make changes, that comes from its store listing, not from tools we read.
Store positions show where a listing sits in a ranked list, not how many sellers use it. Claude's Most popular list mixes connectors and plugins, so compare a connector with other connectors. A higher position also doesn't mean an app does more with Amazon.
