This week in plugins: Oracle, J.P. Morgan and LinkedIn ship to Claude

Claude added 13 plugins and connectors in the week of Oct 19 to 25, with Oracle NetSuite, J.P. Morgan Asset Management and LinkedIn among the publishers. OpenApps counted 6 plugins and 7 connectors there, and on Cursor, 2 new plugins and 122 directory listings from Oct 23 to Oct 25, 2026, the only days we could read.

What launched?

Claude's directory gained 13 listings between Oct 19 and Oct 25, 2026: 6 plugins and 7 connectors. Oct 20, 21 and 22 were the busiest days, with 3 launches each. Most of the new names sell to businesses: finance, insurance, legal, hiring and payroll.

The headline launches are NetSuite SuiteSkills from Oracle NetSuite, a connector from J.P. Morgan Asset Management's 55ip unit and LinkedIn Hiring Pro. Verisk Underwriting Intelligence brings insurance underwriting to Claude, and Filevine published the LOIS connector for legal work.

We could read Cursor's launches only from Oct 23 to 25. In those days its marketplace added 2 plugins. Power BI came from Cursor itself on Oct 24, and DigitalOcean shipped its own plugin on Oct 23. Cursor's directory also gained 122 listings tagged as rules: 32 on Oct 23, 52 on Oct 24 and 40 on Oct 25. Most rules are short instruction files, not apps, but 6 of the 122 are MCP servers by name, among them Surehand MCP and pptx-mcp. We count all of them apart from plugins.

ChatGPT listed 191 new apps from Oct 21 to Oct 25, 83 of them on Oct 21 alone. That store is outside this issue's focus, but its numbers are on the new apps page.

Who's publishing?

No publisher shipped more than one Claude launch this week, and none shipped more than one Cursor plugin. Each of the 13 Claude listings comes from a different publisher, and 3 of them belong to hiring and HR: Greenhouse, UKG Bryte and LinkedIn Hiring Pro. A recruiter using Claude can now reach an applicant tracking system, a workforce platform and LinkedIn's hiring tools from the same chat.

Two launches are first-party. Anthropic published the Military and Veteran Family Assistant connector on Oct 21, the only Anthropic listing of the week. On Cursor, the Power BI plugin lists Cursor as its publisher, as do Cursor's X, Teams and Google Slides plugins.

The rest are vendors shipping their own product. Oracle NetSuite, J.P. Morgan, LinkedIn, Greenhouse, UKG and Filevine all publish under their own names, which makes Claude's week look more like an enterprise software catalog than a hobby store. The 3 Claude plugins with no named publisher are Android CLI, Verisk Underwriting Intelligence and Eddyter.

ChatGPT tells a different story. One developer, Hoang Le Phuc, accounts for 19 of its 191 new apps under that spelling and 7 more as HOANG LE PHUC, 26 in all. No Claude or Cursor publisher comes close to that volume.

What moved?

Of the moves we could read, mostly from Oct 24 and 25, the biggest was on Cursor: the WordPress directory rule climbed from #33 to #2 in directory trending on Oct 24, a gain of 31 places. On the same day its 30-day installs went from 0 to 167. Those two figures arrived together; we can't say one caused the other.

X Money, a Cursor plugin, entered the Popular chart at #50 on Oct 25 and climbed to #36 the same day, 14 places. Cursor's X plugin rose from #10 to #8 over Oct 24 and 25, and Hugging Face from #31 to #29. All of these are raw rank changes: an app arriving above you moves you too, so check Movers for cohort rank before you read a raw move as real.

On Claude the moves were smaller. Atlassian MCP rose 4 places into the top 50 of connectors trending, and WordPress.com edged into the top 50 of connectors by popularity at #50, while Smartsheet slipped out to #51. Two plugins for video work, Kling AI and video-shotcraft, entered the top 50 of their tag lists on Oct 24.

One install-style gain showed up on Claude. The aws-core plugin went from 2,954 to 3,184 GitHub stars on Oct 25, up 230. Stars are a rough sign of interest from developers, not a count of people using the plugin in Claude.

Tool changes

Our change feed showed no tool events this week. What did change was listing text, and listing text is a claim, not a tool.

  • QuickBooks Online (Cursor): the description went from a one-line read summary to a long one that says it can create, send and schedule invoices. A description is a claim; check the app's tools before relying on it.
  • X (Cursor): the description now mentions Spaces, communities and lists.
  • Stripe (Cursor): renamed from Stripe Merchant to Stripe.
  • slack (Claude plugin): its tags dropped files and documents and added APIs. On the same day it left the files and documents list, where it was #19, and entered the APIs list at #3.

The slack case is a useful reminder for anyone tracking a tag list: a tag edit can move a listing between lists without any change in how people use it.

What it means

Claude's week was small in count and large in names. All 13 launches came from different publishers, and most of them sell to companies, so builders of a hiring, finance or legal connector now face a vendor-built rival in the same directory. We could read only Oct 23 to 25 for Cursor, and in those days it added 2 plugins and 122 directory listings. Of the moves we could read, the largest, the WordPress rule's jump to #2, came from that directory and not from a plugin.

Method and limits

This issue covers launches released from Oct 19 to Oct 25, 2026, Monday to Sunday, in UTC. Change events come from Oct 20 to Oct 27. Several limits shape what you can read into it.

  1. Events held back. The signed-out API counted 1,051 Claude events in the window, 707 of them rank moves and 249 chart entries, but held back 5,249 events from the rows it returned. For Cursor it counted 104 and held back 1,482. Our tables list the events we could read, which cluster on Oct 24 and 25.
  2. Capped launch lists. Each launch list returns at most 200 rows, newest first. Claude's 13 launches fit with room to spare. Cursor's rows reach back only to Oct 23 and ChatGPT's to Oct 21, so their weekly totals are likely higher than the figures here.
  3. Late launches. A listing can appear in a store days after its release date. A plugin released this week but listed next week will show up in a later issue's data, not this one.
  4. Raw ranks. Every move above is a raw change. Claude's recommended connectors are reshuffled and have no ranks to compare, so we left them out.
